When I was at my mother’s womb, she put a belt around her tammy with a mini cassette attached to it. She played good music for me during my development stage. No wonder why at the age of 3, I begun singing in the church. Well I was not very approachable when I started my ministry, I never go up on stage without anyone to accompany me on the piano. My father once forced to sing with me. My strict piano teacher used to whip my fingers when I was 5. At school, I accompanied my classmates using guitar during my elementary days. I tried clarinet and violin too. Even though am not so blessed as a singer but I have given my all to The Casts, my second family and Chordal Teens. This made me a leader and a teacher.  You may say I’m a jack of instruments but master of none. But it’s this special instrument that captures my heart most.

I’m an avid fan of Kuya Randel Ty. It’s awesome to see how he played his saxophone on YouTube. We happened to chat at net and motivated me to have one on my own. Am also inspired by one of the world’s best saxophone performers, Kenny G. Too costly, I know. It’s a lot of wooing times to my parents to buy this valuable instrument. It took a while for them to finally grant my long wished music instrument. Anyway, they did not spend a penny for a saxophone teacher. I bought a book and studied it myself. It means so much to me. There’s no apt word to describe how supportive and understanding my parents are. I owe them much. They are my backbones in fulfilling my desires in life. There were pressures also along the way in some forms but I guess its part of it. These still keep me going. I thank God for giving me this opportunity to share my music here in Northeastern Mindanao Mission and even to other places in various occasions. It’s my joy to serve.

ast May 18, 2011, it’s a dream come true. At HR & W recording studio, me and my saxophone played the song of my heart giving praises to the Lord. As I pursue my college degree, you may no longer hear me played as often as before but you can still play it on as often as you want at your homes. Just grab a copy of my VCD and support a church.
